Smoke 'em if you got 'em! ;)

Steyr101,

Very nice !! What's the model number ?? Barrel lenght ?? On the Wilson website, I saw come compacts but they had the bbl sticking out (eekk!!) Yours seems like a ``Commander like`` pistol ?? Been using quite a few Commanders over the years so I'm curious about your pistol.

Thanks for posting :) Love the CQB and the Compact! Almost took a black CQB Elite but ended up with the Protector. I'd be happy with any Wilson :) They're all "just right"!

Wilson makes nice pistols but try getting some parts or service. Their lifetime warranty isnt much good in Canada.

The pics you guys posted - what a bunch of great looking Wilson's. My smith tells me quality is "super" A-1. Its like buying a Les Baer. Very good looking, very well built and extremely reliable.
Gotta let us know how they shoot. Post a range report with your impressions. Congrats and Happy shooting!!!!:canadaFlag::rockOn:
BTW, like dem Cohiba's. They are Hecho a Mano & worth the smoke!!!!! With my limited budget, can only afford Monte #4's.

Carl, I don't think that one will ever be leaving my safe... it's a special Canadian import, one of two like it in Canada.

The Wilson's are phenomenal pistols, alot of "custom" 1911 makers have sprung up recently (some with direct Wilson heritage) but the Wilson's have managed to keep up.

Absolutely beautiful!!! I'm very happy with my gray frame, black slide CQB but, damn, this post has got me lusting for a stainless Wilson.... Enjoy!!!!

These are individually hand made by a team of very fussy smiths. They come with a page long checklist of all the individual hand fitted areas, and who did them and inspected them. Over 30 hours of hand fitting into this one. Cost?... well they are expensive, and I could have a big box of Norincos for the outlay. (I like Norinco's too. That's my 1911A1C in the pic) But when a working stiff like me can afford the Ferrari of 1911's, why wouldn't you? :)

Its really sad that no Canadian dealer carries Wilson Combat, actually pathetic.
