Win 1892 TD Deluxe TD in .357 Beautiful!

I just will never understand how dumb Winchester is, or their marketing team. totally clueless on the market. its 2025 no one wants a curved or crescent butt stock, look at used market on whats hot, its none of the above, they have the tools and guns to print money! but keep putting out crap no ones asked for.... marlin, every dog $#### turkish company doing trappers, yet Winchester god knows what they are doing, even with stupid prices cant keep leavers in stock. they need a new marketing design team for sure.
just my 2c

Tell me you can't afford a Winchester without telling me...

I read the title and got all excited at the thought I could enter a contest to 'win' an 1892.
I'll just go finish my coffee now.
I did the same thing, spent a minute trying to enter a draw before the gerbil in my head started the wheel to spin.

I like the fact Winchester is making levers the way they were meant to be made, let the Turk’s make the tactical plastic crap with threaded muzzles and picatiny rails, for fudds like me it’s nice to be able to buy a high quality traditional rifle. Winchester and Pedrosoli are currently making some beautiful examples.

I'm with you on this. Lots of manufactures making good 'modern' levers, but few still make the traditional ones and I'm a big fan

Yeah I have to highly disagree with you. I absolutely love the classic look of the crescent butt plate. Also Winchester does make a carbine with the buttplate you are looking for, different strokes for different folks.

Winchester is tying the entire heritage of their brand to the authenticity or modern version thereof, of the model 1892 lever rifle and carbine.

Oh I totally agree!!, I just meant in the sense of they cant or aren't making enough for market demand. even at the slightly higher market prices these days they still sell as soon as their in i meant more on the lines of I i wish they would just focus on levers and maybe model 70s
and forget about the other stuff. Im talking about look at all their past products that sell for a insane price used and start making some of those again, (no tactical crap) cheers!

touche' ma'am! or sir, However slightly the opposite perhaps a tiny bit too broke these days.
from the plain jane model 94 in 32 spl, to a 24" never fired model 9410 to a 9410 pack 20" nib with papers
all the way to a now (sadly) discontinued as well model 94 30-30 deluxe edition.
Only thing I have yet to add that I want is a nice 357 =)
cheers!!!

Here is my winchester 1892 deluxe trapper with the 16in barrel in .357.

The casehardening looks amazing, but a word of caution on the take down feature - maybe it was just mine but it was a real pita to unscrew the leaver.... Took way more force then expected, not going to be doing that often.

Awesome little lever gun though, right next to the john wick m4 abomination and the blr takedown picked up last month from prophet river.

Thanks again guys, the blr runs great!

looks gorgeous! I had a 450 marlin trails end takedown that was very much the same, I ended up using koper kote on the threads it seemed to help, however decided to not use it in that fashion and used it non take down. Very nice BLR and benelli as well!
