Win 231 in 12 ga

I have been using SR7625 for the wife's light 12 ga. loads but am almost out and seeing that it is discontinued I thought I would use a couple pounds of 231 up that I have but damn I can't find any load recipes at all. Surprises me as the burn rate is between WST and 7625.

Anybody have any suggestion's for a 7/8 oz. recipe.

I'd suggest you trade this powder for some suited to12 gauge

I don't believe that this is accurate. We've seen a steady stream of HP 38 into Canada as of late. I recently bought 4 lbs at LeBaron which was part of a large shipment. Further, Hodgdon still has HP 38 listed on its site.

All that I could find is that they want to phase it out. Nothing pointed to them actually stopping production of it

Does that imply that I could purchase Tightgroup at 30-75% of the cost of HP-38/w-231?
