I now longer load heavy goose loads so what other use is there for this discontinued powder. I prob have about 4lbs. Thanks

I like it in warm 1 oz 20ga loads for pheasant.Also a 13/8oz duck relaxer when you could use lead.

It's AKA HS-7, that may help you find data.

I liked using it under my cast and powder coated bullets in 40S&W.

In a 45-70 W571 at 14 grains with 405 gr lead is real nice.

Same powder as HS -7 so data can still be found. I have used 571 and HS-7 in 357 and 40 sw.

I still use WIN 571. Works great with Bismuth as well.

An old (15th Edition) Winchester Reloader's Manual has data for several handgun cartridges using Win 571 powder, including .38 Special, 9mm Luger, 40 Smith & Wesson, 10mm Auto, and 45 ACP. I have used it in 45 ACP cast bullet reloads and still have some that I use in 9mm reloads.
