Quick question. Is win 748 temp. sensitive at all? Anyone have experience with this powder is very cold, or very hot weather? Thanks much!

Am looking to try this powder for my AR, so if anyone has experience or feedback in that regard, that would be great too!

It's the best powder in all my guns chambered in .223,.300 Savage + .30-30 Never felt it was temperature sensitive .Harold

I made the switch to 748 before winter. I use it in .30/30 and .223 no problems touching it off with standard primers.

I love the way it meters from the very first drop!

It's all I use in .223 and have shot caribou down to -40C and have 3-gun matched/plinked to about +25C without issues...

It is a good AR powder. It is sensitive to high temps. Develop an accurate load and then try it with 0.5gr more. If it handles that ok, you have some margin for a very hot day.

When shooting, don't leave ammo in the sun.

748 not good in heat shooting F class in sun on hot day shooting a hot load you will blow primers and could do worse, never found anything in cold weather
