win 88 .284 cal accurate handload?

Hi,I have a winchester model 88 in .284 cal.Does anyone have an accurate reload recipe for the 140gr and 150gr bullets.Any help would be much appreciated.Please include type of powder and wieght charge,bullet brand and wieght,f.p.s. and avg group size you were getting at 100 yards.Thanks Dave

A lot of guys are hesitant to give out specific reloading advice on the net.

If you screw up and blow up you may want to go after the one who gave you the recipe.

There are lots of reloading manuals out there and if you are serious about reloading you should probably have a couple. (good bed time reading)

There are also some bullet manufacturers who have loading data for their bullets on the net.

I have a Win M100 in .284 but have not nailed down a great load for it yet.

Most any 284Win will like a 140 or 150 grain bullet and 4350. Expect velocities in line with a bolt action.
