Win 88

Trying to put a value on a win 88 in 308 DOM 1960. appears to be in VG condition.
Some premature fading on top of reciever in front only maybe a 1 inch area. Some minor locker scuffs on the barrell. Wood looks VG with some minor wear on it. Hoping this is the right forum for this.

Some calibres are worth more than others, I know a couple of people that would really like a 88 in .284

Check carefully for cracking in the stock behind the action. If not cracked 400+

Hmm. I've got the same gun (1955 though...) I'm trying to find a valu too. There's some good references left for me in the general firearms thread (i haven't figured out linking to threads yet) It's titled blue book for guns.

Milo Hansen used a Win. 88 in .308 to kill the number one B&C typical White-tail buck.

I reckon he figures they have some VALUE.
