Win 94/22 accuracy

Hey dudes. Just wondering what kind of accuracy your getting out of your 94/22's so I know what to expect when I end up finding a nice one for myself

Mine is extremely accurate. It shoots as good as my savage mk2 FV

Mine was only so-so . Certainly not even close to what my Marlin 39A can achieve . To be fair the Marlin fits me better than the Winchester did . That could account for the vast difference in accuracy in my case .

I've never held a marlin 39a. Was one like new for 1500$ on the ee. Was tempting but pricey. Don't make them like they used to obviously so the price could be justified I guess. I want an accurate lever gun

I have a 9422 XTR with a Nikon 2-7x scope from the late 1980's and my neighbour has a Marlin 39A, iron sights, from 1955. Recently used both while doing sign-offs at the club and the Win was loaned to several others doing their sign-offs. Most were surprised by the 9422, but I do believe rimfireplinker is right, the older Marlins will out shoot them. Tried to buy the neighbour's but he's not selling, for the time being I hope.

R the Marlins like a 79' model as high quality feeling as a 94/22? Fit finish, steel parts machining etc

On mine, the 39 feels more like a full-size lever gun... the 9422 is much (much) smoother to operate.
