Win. '94 Compact

Anyone have one of these? I just bought one( I thought it was a Trapper model) in .357mag.To be honest,I like it better than the Trapper!
I test fired it on the wknd shooting WinClean 357. 125gr JFP and some Remington 158gr LRN 38 Specials.I found with the 38's you have to be gentle when feeding,but the 357's fed w/out any stoppages.What a great little carbine,I think my 9yr old will enjoy it too!!

Awesome! I am thinking about getting the Trapper model as well. I think Compact is Trapper model, but I could be mistaken. '94 Trapper's chambered in .357 as well as .45.
Now, let's see some pics of you and your son out hunting!

The Trapper has an O.A.L. of 34.25",while the Compact is 33".
On page 40 & 41 of the 2005-2006 Wholesale Sports cat.
The Compact is $50 bucks cheaper too.
Hopefully this fall I'll have my Son down for the November rifle hunt.

I have a trapper in 45LC. Can load plinking or real bruisers. Loves cast bullets.

Very accurate and runs well.

With the addition of Hornaday's new bullets, I am thinking of making the .45 my everyday hunting rig, be pretty cool to take a book buck open sighted at 150yards.

I think the trapper has walnut the compact has hardwood.
