Win, lose or draw. How was the panic buy before the freeze

My guess is a minority CPC government in 2025 so nothing will change because Liberal, NDP and Bloc are all anti-gun.

The damage will already be done by then… Canada had it’s chance to solve this. But you know, vote splitting. Now we continue to be cannon fodder… the Libs know it works and they will continue to use it.

A minority can do OICs as we are witnessing.

One of mine came in recently (not the last) and since I couldn't get a Unica I'll enjoy this one :)

I didnt do any last minute buying as my collection is already pretty extensive. I have faith this wont last long either. However, I'd still like to have a FNX 45 tactical, 226 Navy, Sig 320X5 legion, Beretta 92X performance, Desert Eagle 50AE, S&W .44 magnum hunter.

Good list!

Well chalk one up in the loss column for me today. I had made a purchase on June 21, and figured it would be clearing in a couple of weeks. I was not given a transfer number at the time. I went back to my email, clicked on the link to see if it was added to the notes, and the order showed cancelled. Needless to say I am a bit disappointed. I did get a copy of the order in my email, the company did ask for some additional information, which was provided. I'm sure the order had hit the credit card, because I always check. It looks like the credit card charge was reversed before it ever cleared, as I no longer see a record. I didn't get any notice from the vendor that it was cancelled, and there was lots of time to correct if I had have had any notice. I emailed them today to ask what happened and confirm that it was truly cancelled, but no word back. So much for being a good guy and not bugging them for transfer numbers at the time.

Unfortunately, that won't be an isolated case given the volume and chaos of the last few months. I had an issue as well. The vendor transferred the wrong item to me because they mixed up CZ Tactical Sports with P-10Fs. I caught it because I checked with the CFO a week after purchase, or I would have been SOL.

I have an ok collection of handguns already but really wanted a 6” 629 and a 6” 686 to go with my shorter barrelled versions a commander length 1911 would have been nice too but prices on these three went retarded so I backed off , still not sure I did the right thing there
I did manage to pick up a SAA that has always been on my bucket list
I did get stuck with one that I don’t really want but that’s because I never tried to sell it lol
A British proof marked s&w 38spl hand ejector with a 38s&w barrel installed , had it for years with the intention of rebarrelling to proper barrel , just never did now I don’t care enough to . Maybe one day .

Forgive my ignorance, but why would a .38 S&W barrel not work with a .38 special cylinder? I have a .357 Rem Mag/ .38 special so I'm familiar with those cartridges, .38 S&W not so much. However as we're discussing the barrel bore, is .38 not .38?

My last two restricted deals prior to the freeze were to my son who got his RPAL in time and the last to my best bud. Both were gifted, free. Until Canada wakes up and dumps these clowns in Ottawa these may be my last deals, but I am happy

I have no experience using 38sp bullets in a 38sw barrel, but 38sw has a larger diameter bullet so land diameter is also larger. I suspect leading is more of an issue if you were to shoot 38sp? But again, I have no experience, this is just theoretical.
