so my winchester model 12 sticks open. i have to back the trigger group screw out and pull the trigger group slightly out to get it to close, then it sticks open again. i took the trigger group out, and i now when i put it back in (which it does not do easily like it used to), the thing that holds rounds in the tube, and lets one of them out at a time prevents the elevator from moving out of the way to load. when i remove that part, the trigger group goes in and out fine, and the action opens and closes fine, the elevator moves out of the way for loading fine, but of course it can only work as a 1+1, otherwise it tosses more than 1 round into the action, jamming it up.
it was not in use.. it was working fine then all of the sudden just changed its mind about that.
