Win M70 Alaskan 30-06 - Hard To Find

Now I went and done it! I sold off a perfectly great Parker Hale Safari with the intention of buying the new Win Alaskan in 30-06. Seems that when I get an idea, others think about it too at the same time. This results in a problem, now I can't find one. Tried the usual websites and they are either on backorder or not available.

Has anyone run across one?

The supply of Winchesters has just about dried up completely. I don't know for sure what has happened ...
but I have read on another forum that FN/Browning might now be in process of moving the Winchester assembly plant to Portugal.
If so, then we may have to wait a few months before out fav models are available again.
 
Well not completely in dry dock...have decent spares. A UK Midland (Springfield bolt) which is a good great shooter in 30-06 and my trusty blonde 303 No4 Mk2. But ya, I know what you mean.
