Win model 21 value?

I have always thought that it is tough to compete with canvasback when it comes to turning a phrase, BUT, I see that Claybuster might be up to the task !!
Thanks.

Easier to get a hold of and they put more effort in. Everyone should give it a try.
Just because you road test one doesn't mean you want to put it in the garage. ;)

Rod, assuming that is for a 12 gauge? Can you add some dimension and configuration info to give the weight context?

The balance point is right where I grab it and carries and balances very nicely. . Straighter stock and better balance than other doubles I've owned. . My Fox gun is similar and equally as good.

Look at the pictures I posted early on in this thread and you see the stock configuration. . The first year of M21 production, Winchester used a crude buttstock, commonly referred to as a "Canoe Paddle Stock". . John Olin soon corrected this when his good friend teased him about it. .

You'll notice a difference in the pistol grip portion between my two guns on the pictures. . The 12 ga, 2 3/4" gun has an LOP of 14 1/4" and has a longer diameter in the pistol grip compared to the Duck Gun with the pistol grip having a shorter diameter. . The Duck Gun, 3" 12 ga, has an LOP of 13 5/8", factory length for Duck Guns, and as such has a tighter pistol grip diameter. . With a heavy coat this arrangement works good.
