Recently acquired nice semi auto Winchester model 100 in .243 Winchester.
-When I got it, she fired great but didn’t extract the empty. If you pull the bolt back and slam it home it will grip the casing and eject.
-If you fire with loaded magazine it will not extract but will strip a live one from the mag.
-boltface/extractor looks good and the entire rifle has been disassembled and cleaned.
After speaking with Winchester, they informed me there is a firing pin recall and to send in the old for a new one. After 3 months, (firing pin spent some R&R in customs) I replaced it and now when it fires the primers fall out of the casings. This happened with 3 different types of factory ammo/3 shells of each. I decided to be safe and not fire it anymore. Anyone help?
