Good to hear you got it running reliably again. My youngest boy inherited a Win M100 308 from my father in law but we have yet to spend any time with it at the range, never heard of any problems when the f-i-l was hunting with it, in fact according to him it was the deadliest rifle in the woods! My oldest boy got my dad's M88 308 and it is having some issues, stuck cases after every firing, I have had the chamber polished but it is still doing it, it got put in the back of the gun locker a few years ago and hasn't seen the light of day in a while, but it might come out again soon and get a going over to try and put some life back in her!

Had one that wouldn't fire unless the bolt was allowed to slam shut and 180gr patterned like IC at 100 yards. Switched to 150gr and 1/2 MOA rifle all of a sudden.It had the recall firing pin replacement done but nothing I'd trust to hunt with.Long gone.
