winchester 120 vs 1300 barrel

Hi i've got to change my barrel on my win 120. I've found a 1300 barrel on the EE page. i would like to know if it will fit.

I cut my original 120 barrel down to 18.5"

I'm new to the site. I have a Winchester 1200 with a 30" full choke barrel. I wanted to shoot steel shot from it so I picked up a Winchester 1300 barrel with thread in chokes. It works great!. Only concern is the 1200 receiver fits 2 3/4 inch shells. The 1300 barrel will accept 3" shells. Don't try to put 3 inch shells in your 120 if it originally stated it was for 2 3/4. They won't fit. I won't tell you how I know...
