Winchester 1200 Defender help needed

Hey guys,

I'm restoring a 1200 defender that was passed down to me and don't really know a whole lot about them so I'm hoping to find some info here. The shotgun is in fair shape, the main problems are rusting on the mag tube, the front bead sight is damaged and it has a pistol grip... Other than that the internals and barrel are in great shape. My main concerns are finding a suitable stock and figuring out what size the front bead sight is. If anyone could help me with that it would be greatly appreciated :)
 
I have one and just replaced the front bead sight.....thread is 3-56 and the bead size I put on is 0.130
went with the good ole brass bead, looks great.

I believe a stock from a 120, 1200, 1400 or 1500 will fit. I too have stocks and a wide assortment of beads (all sizes in aluminum and brass).

Thanks guys. I managed to figure it out and went with the Hogue stock set and TRUGLO starbright deluxe front sight. The stock feels amazing, seriously considering getting one for my 870 as well. I had to remove a bunch of rust off the magazine tube and reblued it, luckily there wasnt any pitting.
