Winchester 1200, win chokes, steel shot

I'm sure this has been asked before but I'll ask again cause I didn't find an answer.

The full choke Winchoke that came with the Model 1200 pump action.

Can I use that choke for bb size steel shot or do i need to use the modified winchoke instead?

Modified would be preferred, IC may give a very good pattern also.

The mossberg accu-choke and Browning invector is the same choke too.

I'm thinking goose hunting with this gun so a denser pattern at a greater distance would be useful.

Modified is probably the tightest you want to go.

Full choke and large pellets such as bb and bbb or larger steel shot can result in blown patterns which is why a lot of folks find modified and improved a better fit for good patterns.
