I got the option to buy a win 1200 30" ribbed barrel with fixed full choke. New soft case and sling . Shot it for trap 2 rounds , felt comfortable (limited experience) It looks to be in good condition, used but not abused the furniture in excellent shape. It is experienced it took a deer last fall. Is $200 a decent deal? My reading leads me to believe the gun is a good design (U.S. military in Vietnam) .Any thoughts

Nothing wrong with that deal, go for it.
I have the same shotgun without the vent rib barrel. For $200.00 not a bad deal but I found with mine the fixed full choke was a little limiting for trap. I've had mine for 20 - 25 years, hundreds of shotshells and no problems ever. If it works for you the price is right for this shotgun and accessories.
