Winchester 1300 Barrel fit a 1200??

I have a Winchester 1200 with a poly choke and would like to find a vent-ribbed barrel with screw in chokes. Will a 1300 barrel fit my 1200??
 
My 1200 is chambered for 2 3/4" shells.
I believe the 1300 barrel is chambered for 3"

You better keep that in mind so as not to try firing a 3"shell using a 2 2/4" action
 
I love my 120, but I got it used, Newish, but used. A few boxes though it before I got it, about 60 boxes since :) It's a great light weight 12 gauge that doesn't kick anything near a Cooey or NEF single.. The 30" full choke is dangerous really far away.

Funny thing is my dad has a 120 as well and I worked a couple seasons at a winery shooting birds in the fall when I was a kid. I put about 5000 through his and then got mine, pretty much new. I'm good with mine.

Great gun and one of my never sell firearms. I have 3 never sell now. Still want an Ithaca m37 and an sks and a 22-250 and a 9mm, a .44 mag and a .22.... but we all have wish lists.

I bought my 1200 in the 70s new. Its been a cabinet queen, more or less, actually looks almost new.
What barrels are available for the 1300?
I had an eye on the Browning BPS 12ga upland special with the . I think, with a 22" barrel but decided against it. Thought I might find a short barrel for the 12, never did.
Bought a Franchi O/U instead but, well, a back up to a back up to a back up seems reasonable.

Darn, that is not what I wanted to hear. I have a 1300 with a 28 in. barrel and I have been casually looking for a 18 in. barrel (or a longer one that I could trim) in case I wanted to make a tacticool out of my field gun. For some reason, I see more 1200 barrels floating around.:(

I will compare all my barrels. It just does not make sence what he said about a 1200 not fitting a 1300
