Winchester 1300 Defender

I haven't had a hitch with any of the defenders/1200/1300 series of shotguns. I actually find the action SMOOTHER than an 870 and NOTHING pumps faster than the newer 1300's with the recoil assist action. Winchester can't be that bad, they make actions for some of the Browning repeaters.

I have both the Mossberg and Defender. They are both good but I prefer the safety's placement on the Mossberg while the Defender has rotary bolt which allows it to shoot much faster.

This issue has divided my wife and I, She loves the Mossberg 590 and I am a big fan of the Winchester 1300 Defender. So I say get both.

I have the 590A1, heavy barrel. I like it much more that the defender but in the end it is what works for the shooter.

I had two and they both had jamming problems,they were both older,purchased in 1989 or 90,traded them recently on a benelli and like that.

i have two 1300 defender guns have not had a problem with eather of them one i have had 15years great guns
