Winchester 140 Ranger

I have owned it since 1985 and have shot alot of loads through it, with out any problems.I love this gun and know it was not the greatest semi out there but why does it have such a bad rep? Any one else have one and how do you like or dislike yours? Do you think it will become hard to find parts for in the near future?

Some people have used their Model 140/1500/1400/2400 shotguns and are very happy with them.In the past I have owned two Model 1400 shotguns and a Model 1500 . Must say that I had nothing but trouble with them jamming.

The good thing that I will say about them was that the ones I had were really good with shot.Made some nice shots.Of course this was back when lead was legal for waterfowl.

I have a 1400, had no trouble since i got it, shot about 1000 rounds or so this year with it and had only 1 jam, and that was with a freinds super cheap shell... Iam still looking for another, but have yet to come across one
