I enjoy the 86's as well, Mine is a standard Octagon 45-90 from 1894, I enjoy the 33 Winchester too ,had a chance to shoot a friends 33 this fall,Was impressed. I just wish it was easier to get ammo and brass up here in Canada. I recently purchased some 86 brass ie 45-90 and 40-65 from Rusty Wood Trading Company in BC, great to deal with. Great storey about the tree ,Keep the 86 stories coming enjoy them.
