I picked up a few guns from a co worker. Among them is a 1892 in 44 WCF made in 1903. The action was super tight and it didn’t want to cycle, so I managed to soak it good and pull it all apart and clean it up. Replaced broken firing pin and swapped out the screws to a new set. I now have it cycling properly. Cleaning the barrel it does show some putting near the chamber, which for an old black powder gun I can’t say I am super surprised, however the chamber does look like it has some tool marks from the factory in it. Perhaps it is supposed to look that way, as I haven’t inspected very many guns of this age before. I will see if I am able to get a picture or two and post it. Either way I’m looking forward to trying this out.
