I can't seem to find any info on this specific rifle. Would anybody know what the twist is on the Takedown model? Is it the same as the standard 16" barrel version (2010 model year)?

Thanks.

Don't think they are. The 16" Trapper (non Takedown model) is 1:26. I am thinking it might be the same on the Takedown model.

Measure it yourself. Put a cleaning patch on the end of the cleaning rod fairly tight so the rod rotates and mark the rod.Slowly pull the rod out, when it has completed one rotation (relative to the mark) measure how far the rod is from the muzzle. If rod is out 20" you have a 20 to 1" twist.

The barrel on the trapper is only 16'', so it's not that easy to do it that way.
They are indeed 1:26, as pazzo stated.

Just though I’d bump this up as I forgot to reply when I spoke to Winchester on the phone....

The Winchester 1892 Trapper Takedown .44 Mag (2010 year model) has a 1:20 twist barrel, as per a conversation I had with the guys at Winchester/Browning.
