Hey guys i have a friend that might be interested in selling his 1894 with a 1905 build date in 32 wcf. Im curious what a typical value range woud be? Its in fair shape with a decent bore, bluing is mostly worn off and the furniture isnt perfect. Its been used in its life. I can try to get some pics if needed. Thanks!!

Well, there are no pictures of the bore and that is as important as any detailed pics of known wear points, which are also still absent. So, as you're pressing for an answer I would suggest you ask your friend what he thinks is a fair price for his gun. If that price is within your means, and you believe it is equal to what you're holding in your hands...then that's a good deal. Both parties are happy.

Not a lot of pics. Looks like a standard 1894 SRC(SADDLE RING MISSING) . Most rings got turfed cuz they rattled. Replacement rear sight, can't see the front sight. Wood looks unsanded which is good on rifles of this vintage. You say 32 so assuming you mean 32 WS not 32 WCF which is not loaded in an 1894 just the 1892. If front sight is original, bore is good and mag hasn't been shortened I'm thinking value to be fair to both of you is probably around $800.
