I am considering selling my restored 1894 src, but have no idea of the value. It has been restored prior to me purchasing it, bluing is almost mint, and stock has a couple of small safe dings. I have fired the rifle without any issues.

Can anybody give me some ballpark as to the value?

The stocks are not original. The fore end looks like it belongs on a Marlin. Buttstock doesn't look to be particularly well fitted. Buttplate looks like brass?

No collector value, but you could probably get 5-600 as a project or parts gun.

The refinishing of the wood and metal lowers the resale value considerably. This one appears to have a gumwood stock, as many SRC did, and were originally darkened to match walnut color. If the bore is very good it has value as a shooter but aside from that, $300 - $400.

Sad, but I'm going to agree with the 500ish. Collectability is somewhat diminished due to the Re-work...yet it's not modern steel. Nitro, sure. But it's not going to command much coin IMO

Yeah, I was aware the value would be reduced from the work that was done on it. I considered changing or refinishing the stock closer to original, but don’t think it would be worth it in the end

Lots of fellows out there who are not hardcore collectors. Tag it honestly and throw it in the commission rack at the local GS... it'll move fast enough. Might command better coin than you think too

If i were purchasing that rifle, shootable bore condition would dictate weather it was a $400 parts rifle or a 6-700 shooter because most the collectability of that rifle has been lost already.

Fingers...you are likely a little more serious about collecting than Joe Average though. The Cowboy Action reference tipped me off that one.
S-I-L stopped through with a refurbished LE... most in the milsurp forum would have torn their clothes and pulled their hair out. 700 for a 2 groove bore as black as coal... fresh parkerizing... don't know what the wood was done in.
He was happy as can be. I oohed and ahhhed appreciatively... even a low whistle and clucked my tongue. He was happy, why be that Old Fart that finds fault in everything? He had a rifle just like GGP used in in WW2!
Your opinion is about right... but many out there don't mind a mucked with rifle if it has provenance.
As long as it is presented honestly... that rifle will swing better coin than we think on a rack in the LGS.
Respectfully of course

No interest to a cowboy shooter. Only used for side match's , but almost never happens in CANADA.
But as a good shooter for fun and hunting expect 500 plus at auction.

I'm guessing the upper limit of this CGN'rs values.
I don't think the market has yet fallen off the edge yet giften the prices in the EE.

You will maybe be able to fool someone who knows little into paying $700 for this rifle, but anyone with a discerning eye will likely pass

If a 1970s 94 can bring $700, yours should bring close to that. (strictly a shooter). I would not pay more than 4-500 but someone looking for a bush gun might. This is JMHO and worth what it cost you. Good luck AJ

Step away from the computer guys... OP puts his shoes on and gets out...real world value with be well above 500.
We live in a virtual bubble here. Go to a show...it'll swing coin...damn betcha?

Go to a gun show and there are always eager young pups, usually in pairs just salivating at a chance to get one of them Winchester 30-30s just like dad had and have "show fever" and seem happy to pay more than they are really worth. Good place to get rid of 'em, rather than here with a page full of cynics.
