Winchester 1895

Here’s the 35-303 Br my friend shoots. The Speer 250 gr spitzer feeds like a fat boy at a buffet in his Lee Enfield. Imagine it would do okay in your 95 too.

A short while ago I picked up a 95 in 303Br and that 35-303 Br cartridge definitely looks 'interesting' should/when I decide to go for a calibre change. Back to my start, Dad and I used sporterized 303 Br Lee Enfields. :) Dad's personal choice of ammo for use on Moose was the old 215 Dominion/C.I.L. loads. I've been able, ;) for nostalgic reasons, to find some old C.I.L. 215gr bullets as well a couple of boxes of 215gr bullets by Woodleigh so perhaps I'll 'burn' those up first. Then................;)

Might be better responses if you narrowed down what type of work your needing- since you mentioned crescent butt- wood? barrel, re-boring, action?
I have a .35/1895 that needs a smith with a .35 reamer to clean up the chamber that years ago someone tried to change to some different cartridge with acuglass when .35wcf was un obtainable but is still down about 4-5 on my to do list.

Bob Jury has made new barrels for the 95's in .303 British or 30-40 Krag if you want a .30 caliber.. The original barrel can be made into a .338-.303 British with 1-10 twist or .35 win if you wish.

Does he do them in stainless?

Does he also do the gunsmithing? I have bought barrels from him and he mentioned reboring but I didn’t ask any more questions
