Winchester 1897 and the Norinco.

I recently picked up a 1897 dated to the year 1913. It's a full length barrel, I can't bear to cut it down into a trench gun configuration. However if the Norinco 1897 replica's barrel is interchangeable that wouldn't be so much of a problem for me.
Any input on what I should do?

Do not cut down that 1913. Its getting harder to find old 97s with full length barrels. Can't comment on the Norinco but it will only cost you about 400.00 to find out.

Buy a Norinco or a Cimarron 1897 you won't regret it.
