I might be buying one of these from my father. I havent used it much in the past and want a short shotgun for the quad box. It already has a short barrel on it, still legal.

Can these be fitted with a mag tube extension and side folding rear stock? Im not a fan of over the top rear folding stocks.

Any insight is appreciated. Also is a slug/rifled barrel available for these?

Thanks again.

Are the 2200 and 1200 winchester stuff interchangeable?

Wheres the best place to shop for 2200 accessories:

-folding stock,
-extension tube mag,
-new front stock.

Its in wood right now, I want to replace it with black plastic.

I want to be able to use the gun in both the folded and extended position. (IE still able to work action when it is folded against receiver)

Its not going to be a tac shotty, or mall cop shotty, just something a guy can put in a 33" quad box. It might look kinda goofy with a wood forestock and plastic folding rear stock.

Hi,
I recently bought a used 2200.l I've only fired a few rounds through it. I like it.

There don't seem to be a lot of 2200/1200/1300 accessories and stuff from sponsors. I think Marstar has mag extensions. I apologize in advance if I'm missing anyone else.

hxxp://combathunting.com has stocks and the like.

Cheers,

I just bought a used 2200 too!

I haven't fired it yet. But been playing with snap caps. I get double feeds. Almost 1 in 5 times and is quite annoying! I tried it with live shells about 30 times. No problems. Anyone have problems with snap caps?

2200

I only paid $100 for the gun I manged to pick up an extra (used) barrel for another $100. Now that I have two 30" barrels, I want to get the other cut down to 18.5 or 20 "

I had an idea that I might try to put it together like a US Army 1200, with a 20" barrel, bayonet lug, heat shield, and plain wood stock and forearm, but I think I might get this instead:

Even with the 30" I like the idea of the pistol grip.

That's weird about the snap caps. What "brand" or type are they?

I don't remember the brand, I have to check when I get home.

The paper label in the box is yellow and font colour is red for the manufacturer's name. The snap cap is machined metal of some sort and painted dark red (but I guess that part won't help much).

But it's fine cycling with live rounds so far but I'm not going to try anymore. Bought it from Epps for $185 and classed as 'good' condition. I hope to fire it in about a month's time. Picked up 250 rounds from Lebarons (2 3/4" 8 shot target masters). :)

BTW, you got a super deal and I thought mine was. Well, at least it's suppose to be. Maybe it's an Ontario thing.

Thanks- it was from a friend, so that helped.:D $185 is pretty decent as well! My barrel was pretty well de-blued but the replacement I bought is in very good shape. I may get out to shoot on Monday- let you know how I get along.

Here's the only side-folding stock I could find available to Canada:
