First off, i mainly stick to the rimfire forum, so forgive me if i post this in the wrong forum.
A co-worker is getting out of the hunting lifestyle, and he's got a few guns that he's selling off.
The one im considering is a Winchester 2200 which accepts 2 and 3/4 inch shells (according to the stamp on the barrel).
Its also stamped "Full" assuming that means full choke...?
First question i have is, What is it worth? It is a little dinged up, and the bluing isnt "perfect" but it is still good. I don't think hes expecting too much for it but im looking for knowledgeable help finding a decent price.
Second, What would be the best uses i could get out of it? correct me if im wrong but a full choke would make a tighter pattern? If i buy it im thinking skeet shooting and squirrels. would this be suitable? Oh and i dont know exact length on barrel but its pretty long id say 24-30" area. also having a full choke can this thing shoot rifled slugs? for the "fun" shooting? lol
any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.
