Winchester 2200 Tactical?

Has anyone turned their Winchester 2200 into a tactical version?

Where would one find parts for this "transformation"?

What parts are interchangable with this model? Someone once suggested to me that I can use parts from a Winchester 1200 or 1300?

My 2200 is the smoothest shotgun I have ever had. I have thought about getting another one and doing it up as well.
I would love to see how your gun turns out.

Any ideas on where i could get an 18.5 barrel for it?

I found a hogue stock kit for it just need a barrel now.

buy a used 1300 barrel and cut it down

The barrels of the Model 2200 were the same as for the Models 1200 and 1300.

I would try to get a Model 1200 Riot Barrel.

Got myself a smooth slug barrel for now.

I also got a set of Hogue stocks for a 1300 to put on it but i'm having issues with installing to forend nut. Any ideas?

I put the Hogue stock & forend on my Defender 1300. I have the 6-1/2 " slide tube and I had to get a spacer made to slip over the slide tube so I could tighten the forend nut. Also had to put some spacers at the rear between the slide rails and the forearm to stop it from twisting from side to side. I wasn't happy about the fit.
