winchester 2200 with steel shot??? Choke or barrel

Hi folks,
a friend of mine have a Winchester pump 2200 12 ga. with removable choke. He want want to go hunting ducks with it but wonder if he can shoot steel shot with his barrel. Does he need only to change his choke for a steel shot choke tube or he have to change the whole barrel?? If it's only the choke, what kind of choke is it? Winchoke or what? And if it's the barrel, are the 1300 barrel are interchangeable??

any choke tube with modified or less should be fine for steel shot. if the gun came new with choke tubes then it would be winchoke. if it was bought used and some had it bored and tapped afterwordsa , then it could be any kind of choke tube system.

He's good to go. Use Improved Cylinder, or Modified at tightest.
