These are explosive on ground hogs but I wouldnt use them on anything bigger. Id stick with 55 gr plus on coyotes

They are listed at 3600 fps and by looking at the primers I believe it. Really very accurate for cheap stuff and they hit with a real smack. I would not hesitate to shoot coyotes with them. My savage will group very well up to 300yds if the wind is calm.
