Winchester 270 for moose?

.270+ 150 core-loc + 2004 LEH bull moose, one shot, dropped in his tracks.
My grandpa kept his family fed with moose meat for years with a .270, he says he never lost an animal. Definatly will do the job.

well having shot well over a dozen moose with a 270 at ranges from 50-350yds, I have never had a problem. I have taken on shoulder blade (little too much lead on a trotting bull) and the shot absolutely pancaked the bull with the bullet ending up under the hide on the offside. I always shot 150 grn Nosler partitions and would reccomend these as just great moose medicine. :D
