A buddy of mine was given this and is wondering what it might be worth. Ya ya I know it's only worth what someone would pay for it blah blah blah. An educated guess would be appreciated. It's certainly no safe queen. The serial number indicates it was manufactured around 1907 I think. The barrel is hexagon for the first half. Rifle's action is still smooth.

Rifle barrel should be 26 inches measured from the bolt face to muzzle face. Not a lot of pics to go by. Half round barrel was special order option, rest looks standard. Wood unsanded not much blue remaining. If bore is good and no damage to gun probably $1200 or so imo.

Plus it is ahalf round barrel with full magazine by the looks of pic. People who ordered half round barrel received a half magazine unless they specified full magazine so it has that going for it.

Half octagon barrel makes it worth more than the delusional folks listening regular pre 64 94s for 1100.
They are $800 guns all day long, unless they have something a little less common like the barrel on this one. I’d say $1000 would be a good price to start, maybe go up a bit from there if you really want to.

The bore condition is all important in pricing this rifle. It needs inspection by a knowledgable person. Not a glance and "it looks good" comment.

So mine is 26" round barrel with shotgun butt. Mine has a very good bore.
When I go to gun shows I will see lesser guns or more beat up guns than mine with $1600 price tags on them.
I have a bunch of factory ammo to go with mine but you are saying it's worth half of gun show price?
Can you show me where I can buy one for $800?
It seems like whenever I try to buy anything it's always going to cost me twice as much as what I can sell it for the next day haha

As mentioned in the original post, it’s only worth as much as someone will pay for it, and we all know gun show prices are absurdly high. I didn’t see your particular rifle on GP, sounds like quite a unique spec though.
