Winchester 333

I spoke with a store manager a while back and he said he just keeps 'One Rack' of various ammo for people who don;t want to make another stop at BP across the street. I always check for the 'Red Tags' but not many appear. I bought some 308 a couple years ago at Under $40/box - Now it's knocking on $50 !

Since I have retired from the CT Pro Shop that I created and ran in Cranbrook, BC, the firearms and ammunition prices have gone up 40-60%.
I retired last year in March due to medical reasons.
Since then, the new owner has taken my once great gun shop to an absolute joke….:(
Canadian Tire Corporate is responsible for these crazy high prices. They try to force dealers into buying direct from their equity program (CT in house buying), rather than buying direct from dealers like, North Sylva, Big Rock Sports, Caribou Outfitters, BowMac Gunpar, or North American Hunting Supplies.
My guess is CT wants to get out of the hunting/sport shooting industry.
But this is only an opinion of mine. She’s a crying shame if another firearms/ammunition outlet is permanently shut down.
Of course this is the Liberal Agenda to eventually ban any and all firearms from civilian ownership….:(

CTC in Stratford is about 15-20% more than local gun stores and on line. Trying to recover the cost of having someone carry it up to the check-out for you. All that extra personal service costs money!!! Like a full service gas station. LOL

The last Winchester 333 pack I had was about 10% duds, worst ammo ever, I'm still shooting federal 525 packs from peavy mart @$16.99 and have a couple Remington buckets 1400 rounds that I paid $59 for also at peavy mart
