Wondering if anyone has used or does use this powder in their 357 Magnum with any bullet for light loads? If so, would you care to share? I have a quantity of 473AA and would like to use it for my S&W. Thanks in advance, Eagleye

i checked my Speer book there is a load in there of the 357 and the 38 special but i would not call it light
other load are lighter and some are faster

473AA can also be used in shotguns and if you wanted to get rid if it faster loading shot shell would be the way to go

Use same data as HS-7 a duplicate powder and obsolete as well but there may be more data out there as it's a Hodgdon powder and generally not used for light or reduced loads in handguns or shotguns. Heavy loads in pistols and shotguns(12 gauge) and regular loads in some of the smaller gauges. These two powders where popular when heavy lead loads were called for in waterfowl hunting but not so usable with steel loads.
