I was bored so I decided to take a Sentry Safe with a broken lock and put my Winchester 490 .22 LR up against it. Sounds pretty lame but I wanted to see if the rounds could even penetrate the cheap safe.
Ammo used;
- CCI Stinger 32 Hollow Point
- Federal GameShok 40 Grain Copper Plated Solid
- CCI Velocitor Speer Gold Dot HP
- American Eagle 38 Grain Hollow Point Copper Plater
- Winchester 37 Grain Hollow Point with Lubaloy coating
Weapon used;
Winchester 490 .22 LR with Bushnell Sharpshooter 3x-9x
Range; 10 feet

Inside lid of safe, note how much damage caused by the CCI Stinger on the top right of the picture, the CCI Velocitor in the middle also did some good damage.
