Just saw that winchester is giving $50 of free ammo with the purchase of a new model 70 between now and may 31. The offer says only valid in the states. Just wondering if you think it will become available in canada. I believe the remington site listed that their rebate offers are only good in the states but we have been able to get them in canada.

I have seen similar deals from manufactures before...but it would be up to the Canadian division or the Canadian distributed ti initiate any sort of deal on this side of the border and it would have to be made in accordance with the Canadian regulations..in both official languages of course.
I think we miss out on a lot of specials due to the hassle that companies need to go through to Canadianize their special offers
