Talked to an older guy that collects and hits ALL the gun show circuits. I`m on the hunt for a pump 22. He has a Marlin 29 in real nice shape....(wants me to be an appraiser lol....got to hate that), he also has a Savage 29 (same thing about price)....but he did give me one price: Its a Winchester 62a, the gun was a grey look(needs blued). It functions fine and he wants $450.
I hate to be picky and at the same time I don`t want to spend way up there to send these old farts into retirement.....but I would like to find the "hammerless type".
What would be more desirable: a 61A or 62A?
