Winchester 70 Alaskan stainless laminate

Yes they were brought to Canada , I had a .375 H&H stainless Alaskan I sold for $2000 to a guy from another province that could get moose tags that had another Alaskan ss in 300 wm and wanted a 375 . Because it is very difficult to get moos tags in ON I decided to sell all of my 375s , a Kimber , a Sako and the Winchester Alaskan all of which I liked , since then a nice 375 Sako Deluxe followed me home .

Odd they wouldn't sell well enough to stay in production. Seems like a no brainer, but I guess most apparently disagreed. Hard to imagine why though, seems about the perfect weight, barrel length and materials for a rifle in those calibers in North America.

Yes. I have one in .338 WM. Apparently they were a Shot Show special, so they didn't make a normal production run. I got mine online, new. I think I saw the listing for the .375 mentioned above but that is it.

BTW - your Unicorn may not be to your liking...I have a 2.5 x 10 B&L mounted and that pkg is the heaviest rifle I own. A very dense laminate stock on those!

Good Luck.

That's EXACTLY why I'm looking for one. Gonna be carried on an ATV or sled way up north, and hiked with very little. Figured something stainless, laminate and heavy was the perfect tool for the job, in .300 WM.
