Winchester 94 and Savage 99F values

Hey Guys,

I am wondering if anyone can offer up opinions on the value of a couple of guns:

First is a Savage 99F in 300Savage built in 1951. Gun is in very good condition overall.

Second is a Winchester 94 in 30-30 built in 1953. Again in good condition overall.


In addition - I have 1935 Cooey "Etonia" .22 rifle (built for the Eaton stores) that I am trying to value - any thoughts?

The Winchester should be expected to sell for $450. If it were a rifle then it would command a bit more but a general run of the mill carbine is a $450 rifle.

The Savage might command a bit more but condition will be everything. Extra holes and cracked tangs (both of which the 99 is famous for having) will detract.

If your Savage is a rotary mag, it will command more, as well, low serial numbers help. If it is 303 Savage, it is a niche gun and only someone loading 303 savage will be interested.

List the 99 on the EE for $450...

Give the Cooey to a young shooter (with a mentor)...
