Winchester 94...hell, Win levers in general...

Getting more Winnies is never wrong. I have several in 30-30, 32Sp.,25-20, 25-35,38-55 and different confirmations such as rifles (octagon or round barrel, full or 1/2 mag etc), Carbines and Saddle ring . Quite often they are in the same year of manufacture. And the craze goes on and on......

Minimum you want is one of each model, then one of each cartridge, one of each variation......
Sound expensive? It is. But it's fun!
The only limitation I've put on myself, is that I have no wall hangers or safe queens. They shoot, or they are gone.

I have an 1892 25-20 which I acquired from the son of the original owner. Also have 2 pre-64 94's in .30.30. One is "as new" that I couldn't pass up a few years ago. The other was my dad's which he bought new at the beginning of time (I'm 70) and has killed deer...nothing but deer and quite a few.

Is it wrong to want more than one?
One's enough for me. I got a nice Model 64 a couple months back in 30-30. Redfield receiver sight is on the way for better sighting.

That's all the levers one would ever need.

I was hooked on levers from the time a guy at the range let me try his Marlin. I ended up with a Glenfield (Sears Marlin from what I understand), I've got a newer Win in 30-30 I'm holding on my PAL pending him or a member of his family getting their PAL and I recently bought a '94 Puma clone in .357 for my cowboy shooting. All three are seeing semi regular use and I'm even going to have a go at a scope on the Glenfield and go hunt steel silhouettes soon. When that 30-30 Winnie finally heads out I'll probably want to get my own.

Semi auto's? PHHTTHH! Who needs 'em! It's far more fun to actually connect with the operation of the firearm and work that lever.

Is it wrong to want more than one?

(Thanks to Woodbeef for starting a sickness with a .32 Win Spl, 94.)

No, nothing wrong with it. I started with the opinion that one was good enough for having and hunting. Fine for a couple years until one day I felt I should have one of each caliber. I have accomplished that now and feel satisfied. I am sure however down the road there will be another change/adaptation that will create the need for more to be added.

Its a natural part of the fun of not only shooting, but collecting as well as the thrill of the search.

My first as well was a 1912 94 carbine in 32 Win Special. I only collect the pre-64 guns and more so pre-1920 ones.
