Winchester 94 trapper 44 mag value

I am thinking of trading my Winchester 94 trapper in 44 mag. I want to get either a Winchester 92 or 94 trapper in 45LC and was wondering what the value of the 44 mag trapper would be. The gun is in good shape and is an angle eject without a cross bolt safety.

Around $500 I'd guess but a picture or three and some more info wouldn't hurt the estimate.....is it a rebounding hammer or half ####? Saddle ring?

the price can range quite a bit on those trappers. You see some guys asking anywhere from $500 to $900.

The rifle has a saddle ring, coil hammer spring and no cross bolt safety or rebounding hammer.

There is good demand for this rifle in that caliber, so I'll say $600 but I can't figure out why you would get rid of one for a .45 Colt's.

45LC Trapper

There is good demand for this rifle in that caliber, so I'll say $600 but I can't figure out why you would get rid of one for a .45 Colt's.

I had both a Redhawk and Blackhawk 44Mag at one time, however now have a 45LC Blackhawk convertible which I prefer to shoot in my old age which was what I originally started with thirty years ago!, hence the possible interest in a Trapper in 45LC. I may also just sell it or try trading for a Marlin GBL.
