I have a mint Winchester 94 30-30 that was made in 1959 and has had 1 round fired out of it. I got it from a friend who bought it new back in the day and fired it once to make sure it worked, cleaned it and then stored it away. It is basically in brand new condition. I was wondering what the selling value would be?

Thanks.

$625 seems high, unless you have the original box & it was unfired.

$400 is what I would say it's worth. Pics would help...

Cheers

I would split the change in what is already suggested here already.
$550 would be a good starting point if what you say is correct
and the condition shows it.

I say no less than 600 and some Winchester collector who doesn't have a pristine 94 would probably pay 700, maybe more, for it.

I would say $450 ish
If it had the original box you might see the $600 suggested above.

Like anything it only takes the right buyer. However there is a never ending stream of Win 94s on the market.

$450 is way low, watch the EE for a while and watch what is moving. I recently sold a pre-64 model 94 that I would class in "good" condition for $500.
They sell like hotcakes, I would bet that if it is in the condition the Op says, it would easily sell for $700
One just sold last night in no time that was in excellent condition for $470. The fact that it sells within hours usually means it was a low price and a good deal.

I would say $600 is a reasonable price. If it is mint I would advertise it at $750 OBO and see what happens. A friend of mine sold an early fifties 94, mint condition in the original box with hangtags for $1000 ten years ago. It was snapped up very quickly.

I'm inclined to agree with you, these rifles sell fast for the most part and especially so if in true excellent or better condition.A true basically mint rifle would probaly sell in minutes at just about any price from what I'm seeing on the EE,gunshows and so on.

I bought that one listed at 470. I thought it was a good deal considering it was in really decent shape. Trust me, I've been keeping my eyes open for a pre 64 and this was exactly what I was looking for. I love the EE, just know what stuff sells for and don't try lowballing if it's a good deal and an item you desire.

Congrats on a nice rifle. You know as well, if you have been watching the EE you got a good deal on a nice condition rifle. The good deals get snapped up in a hurry.

with a decription like that, $600 is not out of line at all. Hell, if I had a thick wallet at this time, I'd put in an offer such as that, right now! I got a super bargain from Doug a number of yrs back on a '57 94 in 32 spl for $550. It was won in a Hardware Store draw in '57 and was stored since!

Everyone's "mint" varies... I have seen re-blued/refinished rifles described as 'mint'.... without quality pictures it is hard to put a figure on it.

My 94-30/30 from 66 with a Williams rear site and few scratches sold for around $350 shipped to the other coast.
