[/IMG]Wahoo got my first winchester.
its a 94 xtr .375 have heard mixed reviews on them , but i figured price was right so id pick it up. Have found some factory loads 200grains for not so cheap , but will be trying some handloads in near future.
Anyone have one of these or any feed back on them ... im listening :)

I got one!
il write more later on as i cant right now!

good little gun, i reload mine now.

not a very common round but iv shot Sambar deer with mine.
good pig busting round also, mine is top eject unfortunatley an i cant mount a scope...but levers aint made for scopes back then ;)

As WhelenLad notes, top eject is not a scope gun unfortunately. I have the 94 XTR in .307 (angle eject / scoped) and it's one of my favourite guns. Not being a big fan of the Win 94 overall, I find the XTR to be a completely different/superior rifle compared to the standard models. I believe you will quickly become very attached to yours and I have been sort of half looking to find one like it myself. Nice find. :)

yep, all plus's coming from me! I had one, loved it dearly! Then I found I wasn't using much anymore, not sure why, too many other's to play with I guess, and I needed room in the safe, so a bunch of hardly ever used ones went to new homes. I'm betting you will love your's, too! Have fun!
Stock up on ammo as you see it on the shelf and do get into reloading, if you can!

Get some dies and start reloading.>375 win or 38-55 dies will work.RE#7 is the powder for this.A bullet mold is another option. My buddy has one and deer are leaking when hit with this round ....Hornady discontinued their 220gr FN but I think Sierra makes one for it.Gun shows are a good bet.Win used to sell 250gr as well.........Harold

I reload hornady 220 gr, i havnt made a load it likes, i just simply loaded from start just to shoot rounds out of it.

Im way too attatched to my rifle, ive missed several deer in the early stages but now with the williams peep, im alot more accurate an when the deer come into range an the slug hits em.... To be honest it Pin holes

Thanks for the info guys, it is much appreciated . I was a little hesitant to pick mine up but i got it for a steal , had originally planned on turning it over for a few bucks . (or at least thats what i told the missus) . Its my first lever gun and i love the way it shoulders, i plan on using it for deer and black bear in fairly dense bush . Its also a exscuse to start reloading, as i have been saving up for a press and other equipment . Cant wait to take it to the range,
Cheers,

I got a good deal on mine, and it shoots great. It is near mint, and is one of my favorite rifles for hunting.
This is going to be a great gun for cast bullet loads. The .375 Winchester is a great cartridge for any
big game in North America under the right conditions. ;)
