Now before you guys plead and swear at me for doing this look at the pics and read the description. It was missing some parts when I got it. When I striped the gun down, I found some parts that were also broke so until I get the parts, I will update this slowly. I am basically bringing this back from the dead so I will show you guys the process same as I did with the N.R Davis and Sons shortie/backpacker. Depends on what this looks like when I am done, I plan on removing the polly choke and getting it threaded for chokes.

Now heres the plan. I am ordering a new Left extractor, shell stop spring, left shell stop, action slide hook screw, and 2 shell stop screws. (BTW if anyone has these parts and your willing to sell them, send me a PM.) I plan on removing the heavy scratches on the receiver then bead blasting and re-bluing everything. Stripping the stock and cleaning it up to look nice. I am not making this into a collector gun, it is way past that stage. Now it is going to be a shooter.

This is what the gun looked like when I got it. As you can see it had a hard life.

Good show! I did this one last year, the pitting wasn't as bad as yours, finish was about 20%, with a bulged barrel. Had TacOrd cut it back to 20", and back bore to modified as well as lengthen the forcing cone. Rust blued it myself. It turned out great!

I'm in the process of doing the same to another one, and short a few parts as well. I was going to order from numrich, but with the $25 surcharge, it wasn't worth it. Where are you ordering parts from? Would you like to combine an order?
