winchester AA powder

looking through my stuff and found a can of winchester AA powder.
looks good. color's good and smells good. What is it used for?
 
Winchester had three powders that they designated as AA powders, of which, I don't think that any are available any more. The most likely one that your talking about is AA20S, it has 2 AA's surrounded by a circle on the front. the other two are 452AA, and 473AA.

yep, it's the one with 2 AA in a circle. None of my reloading books mention AA so I guess it's shotgun or pistol. I don't reload either shotgun or pistol so I'll see if I can trade with the brother-in-law for somthing I can use.
