Anyone used this? What kind of results have you been getting. I've noticed it's 1-2$ Cheaper per box. I'm pretty cheap so I like the price. I bought a couple of boxes of 150 gr .308 and it groups well for me. Just looking to see how it performs on game.
Any help would be appreciated.

Is that the PowerMax line?

Its EXTREMELY accurate for its price out of all three rifles ive used it from. However, I was less then impressed with its performance. I shot a small deer last fall, with my 308, quartering towards at about 75m and the bullet failed to exit. The deer did expire about 40m away, but I prefer a blood trail. Not an eff'n drop to be seen.

Yes, I know, being picky. But blood is nice. Maybe it was a fluke? I dont know.

They shot extremely well out of my 308. I never did have the chance to take an animal with one though. I switched to Federal Trophy Bonded due to greater accuracyand more confidence.

Shot this ammo in 7mm rem mag. Bullet is 150 grn. Shot a smallish bull moose broadside at 100 yrds. Bullet did not exit but i did have a good blood trail. Moose walked 30 yrd and crashed. Bullet was recovered in offside hide breakin 1 rib. Bullet held together well and had good mushroom ending roughly 1/4 in from the base.

My take on this is bullet is it is a very soft bullet that would most likely perform its best at a 200-300 yard distance in the 7mm.
My rifle is a savage package from 2000/2002 24 inch sporter that does not shoot factory ammo well but this ammo did group better than most at 1.5 moa at 100 yrd which is plenty good for the distances I have shot game at (50-200 yards as identification is a problem for me past those distances)

It is the least expensive factory loading I have found and is a very good value load.

Hope you find this usefull

A buddy of mine used 150gr powermax bonded in his 30-06 on a sask whitetail with good sucess. 100 yard shot, deer ran 30 yards and dropped. 3 finger sized exit wound and obliterated the heart, Didnt see any bullet shards in the meat while dressing it.
